Terms of service

Last updated October 10, 2026

By creating a GearDue account you agree to these terms. If you sign up for a company, you agree on its behalf.

The service

GearDue is a tool for recording electrical apparatus test results and deficiencies. Due dates are a convenience computed from the intervals you enter: the test procedures, acceptance criteria, maintenance intervals and safety decisions are yours, under NFPA 70B, NFPA 70E, ANSI/NETA standards, the manufacturer's instructions and your customer's own policies. GearDue doesn't certify compliance. We aren't responsible for equipment failures, outages, missed tests or injuries.

Your data

Your company's records belong to you. You can export them at any time. See the privacy policy for what we store.

Availability

We work to keep GearDue running but can't promise it will never be down. The service is provided "as is", and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.

Changes and ending

We may update these terms and will email account owners about material changes. You can stop using GearDue at any time; we may suspend accounts that break these terms.
